The festival was launched in 2022. It takes place annually on the second weekend in September in the pretty medieval town of Treignac in the Corrèze Department, South West France.

The festival is mainly based on poetry written in or translated into English. It includes a celebration of current work of local and international poets, inspirational workshops hosted by poets, artists and publishers, interviews, networking, a bookshop, good food and good wine. We want to offer you a wonderful few days of poetry, in beautiful surroundings, meeting and connecting with other writers, poets and artists.

The festival is hosted by The Treignac Project at their arts centre beside the river in Treignac www.treignacprojet.org It is organized entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers. We welcome offers from delegates to give talks, run workshops, host discussions groups or any other contribution you feel you can offer. We ask for a contribution per person to cover the costs incurrred by the Association.
